Narcissus


I see myself in the mirror of your eyes
Reflected in this lake
It is true
I still love you
And although my heart  is still injured
I know that I will love you forever

You made shelter in my arms.
You made lakes with our kisses.
Your love made me light, strong, and blind in love.
You told me that I wanted to have more than I should have
But that was not enough

I kept our most sincere secret in my heart.
And I defied the instinct of the prophets
Insecurity does not attack me when I mistake
And your moment happens to be your glory

Your fear is greater than your love.
But this will not make my strength weaken
Your body is my mirror and in you I see
The waters that flow into this lake
I know this chain has no direction

It is the bad that water does when drowned
Even when you can swim
