Today what happened on the US capitol is a crime against democracy and an offense to the spirit of the American nation.
Nothing justifies this disrespectful and vandalous act.
This doesn't just hurt the American nation.
This also hurts the world's democracy.
This is not a matter of being Blue or Red.
This is a matter of respect for the people who elected their representatives.
Power emanates from the people and nothing can be greater than this power.
For it is the people who elect their rulers through democracy.
This was a victory for democracy.
This was the people's choice.
This cannot and should not be contested.
To go against this is to go against the US constitution itself.
I leave here my solidarity with the American nation, especially with the innocent people who were brutally injured in this inconsequential and barbaric act.
I kindly ask that the transition of the American government be peaceful, respecting not only the American people but also all the people in the world who believe in democracy.
It is time to join forces and fight for a better and fairer world.
It is time for each ruler to take care of his nation and his people.
This is a message for all the nations of the world.
It is time to set aside differences and join forces in the name of something noble that we can do for our world.
